Exhibition “Jorge Oteiza and Eduardo Chillida. Dialogue in the 50s and 60s” (Valencia)
Enjoy the artistic production of the sculptors Jorge Oteiza and Eduardo Chillida with this exhibition, open to the public until 6 March at the Bancaja Foundation in Valencia.
The exhibition offers for the first time the work of both Basque artists, two key figures in 20th century European sculpture, together.
The exhibition focuses on the creations made by both sculptors between 1948 and 1969, two decades in which Oteiza and Chillida knew each other, had a friendly relationship and each contemplated the other’s work with attention and interest.
The exhibition brings together more than a hundred works from public and private collections.
