Wine Tourism at “Bodegas Murviedro” (Requena)

Discover the historic connection with the world of wine at Bodegas Murviedro, located in the heart of the old town of Requena (Valencia).
The Historical Winery of Murviedro hides a mysterious underground space making it a fascinating experience. Going down to the underground, we will be transported to another time. This winery is preserved in its original state; a network of caves excavated in limestone, with harmonious and careful lighting, will help guide us to discover wine in its different stages. A subterranean treasure where time stands still, and one can only breathe in the stillness and constant temperature in which the wine was kept in large vats.
Visitors must book 48 hours in advance and may choose from two types of guided tours:
- Normal visit: includes a guided tour, two tastings and a gift.
- Premium visit (minimum 8 people): includes a guided tour, five tastings accompanied by Iberian cold meats and a gift.
Timetables (must be booked in advance)
- From Sunday to Tuesday: from 10:00 to 14:00.
- From Wednesday to Saturday: from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00
