Visit the Castle-Palace of the “Condes de Cervellón” (Anna)
Discover this beautiful Muslim-style palace hidden in the historic centre of the Valencian town of Anna.
Although the castle-palace has been restored several times, it maintains its uniformity and style. The Arab courtyard and hall recreate the decorative world of the Muslims, who settled in this municipality from the 12th century onwards, with its splendid ceramic mosaics, coffered ceilings and plasterwork.
In addition, the building functions as a Heritage Dissemination Centre, where visitors can learn about the history and traditions thanks to the different museums housed in its different rooms, such as the Ethnological Museum and the Water Museum, or the Borja and Cervellón rooms, themed with the decoration and furniture of the period and where a multimedia projection is shown to bring visitors closer to the families that owned the County of Anna.
The Castle-Palace can only be visited on a guided tour by booking in advance through the local Tourist Office.
