This Saturday 15 September Valencia’s municipal markets open their doors for visitors to come and experiment for themselves the traditional ‘market culture’.

These spaces breathe quality and tradition and are immersed in their local neighbourhoods, really livening up their areas, offering quality local products and contributing to sustain local economy.

This third ‘Bonic/a Fest’ highlights the incredible value of the city’s local markets offering a very complete programme of activities.

Starting at 12.30 the Benicalap, Benimàclet and Nazaret markets will organise children’s games and entertainment followed by huge paellas for the whole neighbourhood.

The rest of the municipal markets also offer great fun-packed activities. Starting at 20.00 until early hours in the morning visitors may visit the many stalls, trying local produce and enjoying some of the nearly 40 gastronomic, cultural, artistic and musical activities scheduled.

Entrance to all markets is free!
