Visits to Cullera Castle
Discover the castle of Cullera and its walls, declared an Asset of Cultural Interest and one of the most visited monuments of the Valencian coast.
The castle is considered the most emblematic historical monument of the town. It is a construction of Muslim origin from the 10th century, built to control and defend the territory, especially the coast and the mouth of the Júcar river. Inside its walls is the Museum of History and Archaeology, as well as different exhibitions or audiovisual projections on the history of Cullera or the fortress itself.
At present, guided tours are suspended, but it there is an option to use an audio guide available in different languages.
Timetable (summer)
- Tuesdays to Sundays: from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 17:30 to 20:30.
Timetable (winter)
- Tuesdays to Sundays: from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 18:00.
